Summary

Since leaving The Sunday Times Magazine, I have set up a creative and design consultancy. Current projects include advertising campaigns, new magazine development and art direction; book design from concept to creation (specialising

in working with the world’s leading photographers); website and app design; and corporate identity.

 

I have created several Hackett ad campaigns (from concept to final artwork).

Starting from creating two successful campaigns with Pierce Brosnan, to then writing the rules and creative concepts for the Hackett rules of gentlemen’s etiquette.
I also art directed an ad campaign for the huge Swedish fashion retailer, KappAhl,
in Stockholm.

 

I have recently created amazing book projects with the Sinatra family and with the family of Hollywood photographer Milton H Greene plus another luxury book for
Graff jewellers. As Terry O’Neill’s art director, I have transformed his work into fine

art books. Plus, I have just finished books on Jazz, The Rolling Stones, Hendrix,

Led Zeppelin, as well as a Watchmakers book for an art gallery in Rome.

 

Other works include a Bosnian war book (voted one of the best photographic

books by Time), a style book for Soho House, a successful magazine pitches for the hotel chain St Regis and Gleneagles, redesigned the Blue Guides travel books, and a fashion book for the doyenne Felicity Green – among others.

 

From 2004 - 2011, I was art director of The Sunday Times Magazine where I
redesigned, won awards, introduced the photographic section ‘Spectrum’ and
oversaw the creation of the Ipad edition. I have worked with the most renowned photographers and illustrators in the world - creating award winning portraits,
reportage and visual concepts. Before that, I art directed society bible Tatler and
before that I art directed the Sunday Times ‘Style’ Magazine, working with the

most famous names in fashion and photography.
